Hong Kong stocks started Tuesday with small gains after suffering another hefty drop in the previous session, although traders remain on edge over the mainland’s worsening Covid-19 situation.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.60 percent to 19,989. The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.07 percent, to 2,930, while the Shenzhen Composite Index added 0.10 percent, reaching 1,792. (AFP)
