Hong Kong stocks end lower

Shares in Hong Kong fell on Thursday, in line with losses across Asia, on growing inflation fears and as traders keep a wary eye on a spike in Covid infections on the mainland that has led to authorities imposing fresh containment measures.

The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.3 percent, or 73 points, to 25,555.

The Shanghai Composite Index lost 1.2 percent, or 43 points, to 3,518, while the Shenzhen Composite Index dropped 1.5 percent, or 35 points, to 2,362. (AFP)
