Hong Kong stocks end down

Hong Kong shares fell again on Wednesday, on concerns about the economic impact of a fresh spike in Covid cases on the mainland that has led to authorities imposing new containment measures in parts of the country.

The Hang Seng Index shed 0.3 percent, or 74 points, to 25,024.

The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.2 percent, or 7 points, to 3,498, while the Shenzhen Composite Index edged up 0.1 percent, or 1 point, to 2,393. (AFP)
