Hong Kong stocks edge up on open

Hong Kong stocks opened slightly higher on Tuesday as investors moved back to buying after yesterday’s loss and following a strong performance on Wall Street.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.3 percent to 28,575.

The Shanghai Composite Index also edged up 0.3 percent to 3,539, while the Shenzhen Composite Index gained 0.22 percent to 2,401. (AFP)
